As a child, Meghan spent countless hours in the forests around her rural home exploring and playing games with her friends. She grew up in a family that also valued the outdoors whether they were engaged in athletic endeavors, hauling wood, gardening, or just hanging out. Being indoors was rarely an option.
Meghan's love of sports and playing outside actually started with neighborhood games of "Evil Knievel." She loved running around with her friends, riding bikes, climbing, and building things in the woods. She eventually developed a passion for organized sports such as cross country running, track and field, and lacrosse. Meghan also was a competitive boxer and kick boxer in college.
Meghan earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in psychology and graduated at the top of her class. She currently works as a Paramedic at her local fire department. Meghan's passion for working with athletes grew as she was teaching yoga, strength classes, cycling, and coaching runners on the side. Meghan opened ZenduranceNow Coaching in 2014. She coaches athletes of all levels and loves her job every minute of the day.
Meghan is a competitive athlete and LOVES ultra marathons. However, in 2016 Meghan had a near fatal bicycling crash that left her in a hospital bed for 3 months. Over the past 5 years, she has been running and racing while healing from the multiple fractures and damage from the crash. Meghan has had multiple surgeries to repair the damage to her body and countless medical procedures.
Meghan manages all of this while running her own business, working as a Paramedic, enjoying life and her family of 6, and coaching her athletes.
